Island coach opens online bookstore

Island personal and business coach Molly Gordon is expanding her web-site, mollygordon.com, with an online bookstore in association with Amazon.com.

As of the first of October mollygordon.com will offer fast, convenient, secure online book sales in association with Amazon.com. You'll find direct links for the titles Gordon recommends in her quarterly newsletter, Ladybug News.. Gordon, who has clients all over the country, emphasizes that this service is directed those of her clients who lack good local resources for buying and ordering books. She encourages Bainbridge residents to use the library and excellent local bookstores before resorting to online purchasing.

"Using the library makes good economic and environmental sense," she observes," and buying locally puts your dollars to work in your community. In addition, patronizing independent bookstores helps to insure the continuing flow of diverse sources of information and opinion."

New home for familiar fiber studio

Mollycoddles has a new home. Owner/designer Molly Gordon has moved her wearable art studio to 155 Ferncliff NE, just half a block from the ferry terminal.

Gordon cites much larger quarters and privacy as the primary reasons for her move." I have room now to work on long term "fine art" projects without disrupting the schedule or the work space needed for designing and producing my seasonal collections. I've also learned that there are times when a creative person needs to be alone. I couldn't do that in my old suite at Winslow Mall."

Mollycoddles will host seasonal open houses and design workshops which will be open to the public. Call the studio for additional information or to be placed on the mailing list.
